What is Virtual Reality and What should it be?

Virtual Reality is the computer-generated simulation of a three-dimensional image or environment that can be interacted with in a seemingly real or physical way by a person using special electronic equipment, such as a helmet with a screen inside or gloves fitted with sensors.

If 4 or 5 years ago you told me that today you can buy augmented virtual reality devices, i wouldn't believe a word you said. But "soon" we're going to be able to buy our own virtual reality devices, we've seen how the oculus rift works, Microsoft is also making their own virtual reality device called Microsoft Hololens.
